This project involved drawing the plans for a 2 storey extension, submitting them through the planning process with exterior works consisting of groundworks, new mains water, electricity (to Part P) and gas (to Corgi cert) supplies, drainage, a new soakaway, foundations, blockwork and rendering, roofing and window fitting to FENSA regulations.

Internal aspects included structural steelwork, plumbing, electrical installation, plasterboarding and plaster coat finish, laying reclaimed and refurbished floorboards, fitting a new high spec granite and oak kitchen, luxury bathroom and decoration.  Demolition of internal walls and structural alteration was required.

		All aspects of blockwork, brickwork, rendering, first fix and second fix carpentry and glazing were handled by Four Corners.  Flat mineral felt roof was fixed to ground floor and part of first floor extension, and pitched composite slate roof was cut onsite with cropped hip dormer added to loft conversion (see loft conversion here)

The open plan area of this extension in Bournemouth benefits from reclaimed, refurbished original floorboards, which were lovingly restored and laid giving this room wonderful character.  Full width double glazed french windows and doors allow the light to flood in.

		The finished product encompassed all the structural and aesthetic requirements for sale, including conforming to current thermal regulations, fire regulations and accoustic insulation regulations.

Drawing up plans and dealing with Planning Permission and Building Control to ensure Building Control and Planning regulations were complied with were also necessary aspects we handled with on this project.
