Renault Clio For Sale

Renault Clio For Sale | Bournemouth

BH5 1HD | Mobile - 07834 194 278 | Landline 01202 394409

This is a metallic (we think!) green R-reg Renault Clio, well looked after by my wife and used to get to and from work.  Clean inside and out, with a few minor scratches noticable close up but nothing which stands out.

A nice little runner, 1200cc (1.2L) engine, very economical, cheap mot’s & tax.  We got a newer version of the Clio as were impressed with them, so we have to part company with our little green one.  Call for more info on 07834 194 278 or the landline above.

£849 ovno.

Bournemouth Builder Portfolio Updated

October 26th, 2008

Well, we’ve made a few additions and alterations to the page on our site showing our portfolio of building work.  I’ve altered the css to fix the problem with rounded boxes (my columns decided to go very, very long down the page and their width shrank - maybe I could bottle it and sell it as a cure for global obesity….)

I’ve updated with our current project which is a refurbishment in Bournemouth, added further details to our page on the Christchurch extension we built recently and added a link to our Bournemouth Roofing page which has details of a recent pitched slate roofing job.

The portfolio page is looking much better now, as is the New Forest Builder page, which also had formatting issues and required adjustments to the CSS to correct the layout.  It’s looking good again now and I think the whole thing was caused by updates to both Firefox and IE, which rendered my code slightly differently….

Nokia Phone Software Bugs

August 24th, 2008

Nokia phone software just seems to be crap.  I’ve never, ever had as many problems with a program suite in my life.  The so-called ‘Sports Manager’ can’t synchronise exercise data, the ‘Music Manager’ does not recognise basic essentials for you music such as Album or Artist, the phone itself doesn’t even recognise half the music titles/album/artist info when you transfer over.  Nokia really need to take a long hard look at stuff before they release it.  Testing would be a good idea I think before throwing it at the general public….

Training For The New Forest Half Marathon

August 24th, 2008

Well, it’s about 4 weeks to the New Forest Half Marathon, so I thought I’d better start getting in some training. having run casually for the last year or two, it’s a bit of a step up from my usual 5k jogs on the beach to the 20k or so of a half marathon. Link to my training and thoughts for the New Forest Marathon here.

Bournemouth Builder Website Update

June 1st, 2008

A big thanks to the webcredible site for info on creating rounded boxes using CSS - the homepage of our Bournemouth Builder website is now updated and on it’s way to looking just the way I want it, with much less markup than our Bournemouth Builder Portfolio page - this I will update next time I wake up at 430am and decide I need to do something!

Bizarre Bath - Recommended

May 28th, 2008

On our visit to Bath in April, we stumbled across something brilliant to do. Quite by chance my wife came across a leaflet for Bizarre Bath - The Comedy Walk. Having had a bit of a disaster booking the accommodation and the entertainment myself (guest house I booked aka Fawlty Towers, and both of us fell asleep half way through the show I’d booked…) I decided it would be a great idea to go with my wife’s idea.

Really glad we did too - the Bizarre Bath Comedy Walk really does do what it says on the tin - it’s rib-crackingly funny, bizarre and worth every penny of the 8 quid each we paid to tag along and become part of the mayhem.

The ‘tour guide’ (let’s be honest, he must be a very professional stand up artist posing as a tour guide) brilliantly weaves a show from the sights and sounds, buildings, streets and waterways, dragging in on-lookers and creating a big bubble which you all nearly forget you’re in.

I’d give it a 10/10 rating and would recommend it to anyone with a sense of humour looking for something a bit different to the run of the mill tourist attractions!
