We have recently finished a 3 bedroom garden apartment in a residential block in the Canford Cliff/Sandbanks area, when we arrived at the flat to meet the owners, we had noticed that there had been some work that had already been started, but it certainly looked as if the company who started could not quite get there head around the whole project. We noticed that they had annoyed a few of the local residents that where not best pleased with them as they had left a lot of foot prints and dust lying around in the foyer area.

We walked around with the clients and spoke about the whole project and what we as a company Four Corners Property could offer to them, By offering them a full service that we could project manage and deliver them a full building service they had required without them really having to get involved, they seemed very interested that they could leave the refurbishment in our hands.

We told them we could turn the place around in a matter of 4 weeks that was two bathrooms total refurb alter all the copper pipe work, move radiators and chase the copper pipe work under the concrete floors the radiators where then hung in there new destinations, block up door ways move kitchen to old dinning area turn old kitchen into a new double bedroom, move central heating boiler to the kitchen area, plaster 3 rooms and making good all walls where they had blown from the walls, install new en-suite bathroom rip up all old carpets decorate the whole flat from top to bottom with three coats of paint tile both bathrooms from floor to ceiling, install new contemporary designer kitchen and then carpet the whole place, also all the electrics where moved to new destinations and new lighting installed, oh before I forget all the old walls/timber had to be sanded down to a smooth finish as the old paint had peeled away, I do not think they could believe that we could deliver this project to a finish with in the four weeks with no problems, ah actually the only problem i think we had was from the desighner from Howdens,…!!! he had made a balls up on the kitchen plan,,, oooppps nice one Howdens….. mention no names down there,,, we actually built the whole kitchen to find that the design was totally wrong and we had to re design and swap a few units and take out all the infill’s that they had wanted the customer to pay for..!!! any way not all that bad in the end just messed us up for 6 hours scratching are heads together spinning around in the kitchen and touching our toes we realized it was there mess up… ha…!!! but know hard feelings this is part of the building trade all over the world… We can always get around most problems with a little tweaking.. and a 5 minute break.

Four corners property are renovating a local flat in Canford Cliffs Poole area, we are under construction with the flat totally striped back to basics, we are moving the kitchen to where the dinning area once was to give open plan living space, also renovating the en-suite shower room and bathroom area, photo’s will be shown of the progress shortly, Three rooms have had to be plastered as where in a bad way, also all the floors have had to be made good in places to be ready for new carpets and ceramic tiles to be laid. Lots of plumbing work have been moved and existing radiators moved to new areas to accommodate the new living arrangement. All decorating will also be done by four corners property

The re build work of a Cottage in Brockenhurst that use to be called Red Bricks was demolished and cleared from site, once cleared a team of guys started the foundations and brick work.

Four Corners Property were called in to help with the conversion of the carpentry work helping cut the roof and convert the roof into a 4 bedroom loft conversion with four dormers two to the front and two to the rear also featuring in the loft was two bathrooms, also we helped felt batten and tile the roof, and the rest of the stud walls in the building, after all carpentry first fix was finished we then plaster boarded and plastered through out ready for the decorators and second fix. We then moved to the outside of the new family holiday cottage to excavate the garden with timber decking and feature patios and garden wall, all the out side exterior walls of the building that where not brick faced where then clad with 220mm x 50mm feather edged cut to give it the feel for a real stylish cottage in the new forest, this was built from mostly re-claimed materials this cottage was then named Rookes Cottage that slept 12 holiday makers, take a look round the guided photo tour for finished detail.
